COMPOSITE REPORT - Page 2 Dane County Application No'5 3. 3 <br /> ANALYSISz <br /> 5323 Rezone is necessary because the land being sold is less than the <br /> minimum of 35 acres required in the A-1 Exclusive District and it is <br /> being added to a parcel which is zoned RH-4. No new parcels are being <br /> created. <br /> STAFF COMMENTS: <br /> Regional Planning Commission (R.P.C.) - <br /> Petition 5323. This proposed addition to an RH-4 Rural Homes parcel is in a <br /> farmland preservation area where the adopted policy would oppose such an <br /> addition. <br /> However , the application indicates that this additional land has Christmas <br /> trees which were planted on the farm. Now the family member on the RH-4 <br /> parcel to the north wishes to retain ownership, as the balance of the farm is <br /> sold. This appear to be a reasonable request , as long as an additional home <br /> Is not allowed on the added RH-4 parcel . <br /> Environmental Health Dept. (E.H.D.) - <br /> Co.
