Petitioners:Gary N. Paske & Kenneth R. Luedtke PETITION We , the undersigned, object to the granting of a conditional use permit for Constance Gerstner of the Malagold Animal House kennel for further expansion of existing kennel and retail sales as proposed by Dane County application for conditional use permit . A public hearing on this petition will be held on May 12 , 1992 at 7 : 30 PM in Room #201 of the City-County Building , Madison, WI and is being held so that the Zoning and Natural Resources Committee of Dane County may hear those persons who have an interest in the proposed change in zoning districts or proposed conditional use . Conditional Uses are granted or denied by the Committee. Committee recommendations on zoning district changes are referred to the County Board who will make the final decision on approval/denial . We have great concerns that expansion of the existing kennel will only add to more environmental noise pollution. The existing capacity to board 250 animals at the kennel at the present time already disturbs outdoor activities and restful sleep at night with the dogs barking. We fear what the possible additional expansion will bring in the way of noise. We also as homeowners have a great concern of the valuation of our residential homes if we would ever have the need or desire to sale our own properties .
