4:. <br /> • • <br /> DANE COUNTY <br /> Page 1 of <br /> CONDITIONAL USE PERMIT #987 <br /> THE ZONING AND NATURAL RESOURCES COMMITTEE OF THE DANE COUNTY BOARD <br /> PURSUANT TO SECTION 10.255 (2) OF THE DANE COUNTY CODE OF ORDINANCES <br /> DOES HEREBY: <br /> GRANT the conditional use permit subject to conditions. <br /> FOR: Sales or storage of agricultural by-product. <br /> EFFECTIVE DATE OF PERMIT: 5/26/92 EXPIRATION DATE : 5/26/94 <br /> THE CONDITIONAL USE SHALL BE LOCATED ON THE PROPERTY DESCRIBED AS <br /> FOLLOWS: <br /> Part of the SW 1/4 NW 1/4 of Section 30, Town of Vienna described <br /> as follows : Commencing at the South quarter cornerof said <br /> Section 30; thence N 00° 12 ' 23" West 3257 .23 feet; thence N 89° <br /> 25 ' 42" East 393 . 84 feet to the point of beginning. <br /> CONDITIONS <br /> These conditions are specifically made applicable to this permit, <br /> any violation of such conditions shall be sufficient grounds for <br /> revocation of this permit. <br /> 1) . A spill containment dike and an overflow containment dike <br /> shall be constructed around the leachate storage tank. <br /> 2) . The Town may request that the operation be shutdown based on <br /> proof of violation of zoning, conditional use conditions or <br /> Department of Natural Resources standards . <br /> 3) . The management plan for the cover crop an the management plan <br /> for the entire operation and facility shall be included as an <br /> integral part of the permit. <br /> 4) . The cannery by-product silage may not contain more than 7% <br /> vegetable waste by weight. <br /> 5) . Site inspection by Department of Natural Resources at <br /> regularly scheduled intervals shall be requested. <br /> annua? inspection of the phytsiical facility shall be made. <br /> a. The inspection shall be made by a professional engineer to <br /> determine the physical integrity of the facility. <br /> b. The inspection should be made when the facility is empty <br /> or mostly empty to assure that the pad may be adequately <br /> inspected. <br /> �. The Town shall provide that permit holder a list of not <br /> less than three engineering firms which could make the <br /> required inspection. <br /> d. The permit holder shall choose one of the listed <br /> engineering firms of may request bids from the firms to make <br /> said determination. <br /> e. The permit holder is responsible to pay for the cost of <br /> :he inspection. <br />
