The DNR is interested in <br /> purchasing the Northerly lot. The property is not suitable for farming <br /> because of size and lowland conditions. <br /> STAFF COMMENTSz <br /> Regional Planning Commission (R.P.C.) - <br /> Petition 5316. This proposed 2-lot division Is in an area planned for <br /> public purchase by DNR as part of the Black Earth Creek Fishery Area. <br /> The majority of the area is in the floodplain and all of the soils have <br /> severe or very severe soils limitation for septic tank systems. <br /> While such a division may be ordered to provide for the estate <br /> settlement, from a public policy standpoint , it does not appear to be a <br /> suitable location for non-farm residential use. <br /> Environmental Health Dept.
