The rezone area is confined to buildings and yards. <br /> STAFF COMMENTS: <br /> Regional Planning Commission (R.P.C.) - <br /> Petition 5350. This proposed art and antique gallery is in an existing <br /> farmstead in the agricultural preservation area of the Town of Primrose. The <br /> site is surrounded by farmland and other farmsteads. <br /> The adopted town/county commercial policy for this area is: <br /> To allow such commercial and industrial development as is <br /> needed to support existing agricultural activities where It <br /> will not result in environmental degradation or conflict <br /> with farming operations. <br /> An art and antique gallery Is generally not regarded as a commercial use <br /> needed to support agriculture. This site Is at the base of a large hill , with <br /> two lanes of traffic northeast-bound on STH 69 going uphill and one lane <br /> downhill . There Is a steep, narrow driveway leading down into the proposed <br /> site.
