The recorded distance from the southwest corner to the west
1/4 corner is 2656.38 feet. This distance was first measured by Anthony Thousand in April 1973, Map No.
4-5862; then by D. William Karns, Map No. 7411-L. the rebar is on a tree and brush line extension from the
south and also checks with the west line of the SW 1/4 of Section 15 as per CSM 1685 and CSM 1299. The
location of the rebar was accepted as being the location of a meander corner, 46.00 feet south of the true
corner, and a Dane County Aluminum monument was set in its place.
(j) I, Kevin C.
