MINUTES OF THE MEETING OF THE DANE COUNTY <br /> BOARD OF ADJUSTMENT <br /> COMMITTEE HELD ON July 23, 1992 <br /> The following members were present: Edgar, Quackenbush and Gaskill <br /> Also: Fleck and Reynolds. <br /> Meeting called to order at 6:30 p.m. in Room 2E by Vice Chairman Quackenbush <br /> to hold public hearing as published by Class II Notice. <br /> Minutes: Quackenbush/Edgar to approve minutes of June 25 and July 16, 1992. <br /> Motion carried - 3-0. <br /> Appeals from previous hearings: <br /> a). #2249 Salopek - Verona - 4/23/92 P.H. <br /> No appearances - no action. <br /> b). #2265 - Bandt - Dunn - 6/25/92 P.H. <br /> No appearances - no action. <br /> c). #2268 - D. C. Parks - Dunn - 6/25/92 P.H. <br /> IN FAVOR: J. Mueller, D. Stricker OPPOSED: --- COMMUNICATION: Town <br /> Board. <br /> Edgar/Gaskill to grant with conditions permit to fill/grade in conjunction <br /> with boat ramp and parking lot expansion. <br /> CONDITIONS: <br /> 1). That plans and specifications be prepared by a licensed engineer within <br /> the scope of the application, and filed with the Zoning Department before <br /> commencement of any work. <br /> 2). That all work be performed in compliancewith approved engineering <br /> standards and all applicable governmental rules and regulations particularly <br /> Section 11.05(4) of Dane County Zoning Ordinance. <br /> 3). That there be filed with the Zoning Department a certificate of <br /> compliance by a licensed engineer at the completion of the project. <br /> 4). Finalized or any revisions to plan shall be to Dane County Zoning for <br /> approval. <br /> 5). Board will draft a letter to Department of Transportation expressing <br /> concerns over traffic safety in area. <br /> FINDING OF FACT: <br /> 1). Project is intended to reduce congestion in boat launching and parking of <br /> County Park. <br /> 2). Project is combined effort by Dane County, Wisconsin Department of <br /> Transportation and Town of Dunn to safely improve lake access facility. <br /> 3). Majority of earth disturbance will be for parking lot expansion and grade <br /> is virtually flat. <br /> 4). Engineering will be by Ken Koscik Professional Engineer. <br /> CONCLUSION: <br /> 1). The project as planned, with specified conditions; will not result in <br /> substantial detriment to navigable waters by erosion, sedimentation, <br /> impairment of fish or aquatic life, or safe and healthful conditions. <br /> Motion carried - 3-0. <br /> #2270.
