BOARD OF ADJUSTMENT MINUTES <br /> MEETING HELD ON AUGUST 25, 1994 <br /> PRESENT: Klopp, Gaskill, Dreps, and Quackenbush <br /> ALSO: Fleck, Schutte <br /> Meeting called to order at 6: 30 P.M. BY Chairman Quackenbush to <br /> hold Public Hearing in Room #2-E City-County Building as published <br /> by Class II Notice. <br /> MINUTES: Gaskill\Rlopp to amend minutes of July 21, 1994 and July <br /> 28, 1994 to show that Zoning Administrator Bill Fleck was present <br /> at July 28th meeting. Motion carried - 4-0. <br /> Gaskill/Rlopp to approve minutes of July 21, 1994 and July 28, 1994 <br /> as amended. Motion carried - 4-0. <br /> AUGUST PUBLIC HEARING AGENDA ITEMS: <br /> #2547. Appeal by William and Kerri Shannon for a variance from <br /> required sideyard, setback from normal high watermark, and maximum <br /> height of accessory building as provided by Sections 10. 07 (3) and <br /> (7) and 11. 03 (2) and (3) , to permit addition to existing residence <br /> and new accessory building. Also, for a Special Exception Permit <br /> as provided by Section 11. 05 (3) to permit filling, grading, etc. , <br /> within 300 feet of Lake Waubesa at 4216 Morris Park Road being Lot <br /> #1, CSM 7163 - NE 1/4 SE 1/4 Section 8 and NW 1/4 SW 1/4 Section 9, <br /> Town of Dunn. <br /> IN FAVOR: William and Kerri Shannon OPPOSED: --- <br /> COMMUNICATIONS: Town Board, Clifton Lawson, P.E. <br /> GASRILL\DREPS to deny variance to setback from sideyard to permit <br /> addition to residential deck as constructed. <br /> FINDING OF FACT: <br /> 1. Previous Variance #2409 granted variance of 6 feet to sideyard <br /> to permit house with smaller deck than as-built, and other <br /> variances. <br /> 2 . Owner added to deck shown on Zoning Permit to permit side entry <br /> to garage, without amending permit or obtaining new permit. <br /> 3 . Side entry to garage could be accomplished with a smaller <br /> landing not extending into 4 foot sideyard allowed by variance. <br /> CONCLUSION: <br /> Unnecessary hardship not proven. Motion carried - 4-0. <br /> GASRILL\RLOPP to deny variance from maximum height of accessory <br /> building to permit boathouse\shed. <br /> FINDING OF FACT: <br /> 1. Zoning Administrator Bill Fleck stated that sailboards stored <br /> in this accessory building are considered to be "watercraft" as per <br /> Zoning Ordinance definition of "boathouse. " Any items not <br /> mentioned in this definition are not permitted to be stored in a <br /> boathouse. <br /> AL. 2 . Site would permit complying location of a boathouse or a shed. <br />
