Inspection by Zoning Department after culvert installation to <br /> ensure winter stabilization measures are in place until project <br /> finalized. <br /> 6. Completion and certification deadline of June 1, 1994 . <br /> FIND OF FACT: <br /> 1. Project is intended to cross Little Sugar River and its <br /> tributary to reach agricultural lands and future building site. <br /> 2 . Proposed culvert should lessen erosion from present method of <br /> vehicles fording the stream. <br /> 3 . Engineering plans and specifications by Cliff Lawson, P. E. <br /> 4 . Applicant has DNR hydraulic Analysis, DNR culvert permit and <br /> Dane County Highway Department has existing driveway in place. <br /> CONCLUSION: <br /> 1. The project as planned with specified conditions will not <br /> result in substantial detriment to navigable waters by erosion, <br /> sedimentation, impairment of fish or aquatic life, or safe and <br /> healthful conditions. <br /> Motion carried 4-0. <br /> #2455. Appeal by Ken Beyer, agent for Diane Reiner-Gaus for a <br /> variance from required setback from roads as provided by <br /> Sections 10. 17 (1) and 10. 17 (2) to permit canopy over gas <br /> islands at 6145 USH 12 in the SW 1/4 SE 1/4 - Section 5, <br /> Town of Springfield. <br /> IN FAVOR: K Beyer OPPOSED: --- COMMUNICATION: State Highway, <br /> County Highway and Town Board. <br /> LYNCH/Dreps to grant with conditions variance of 67 feet to <br /> centerline of USH 12 . Also to grant variance of 24 feet to <br /> centerline CTH P to permit canopy over existing gas islands. <br /> CONDITIONS: <br /> 1. The structure shall be removed at the owners expense if future <br /> road improvement requires additional right-of-way. <br /> 2 . Subject to receiving all other necessary government agency <br /> approval. <br /> FINDING OF FACT: <br /> 1. Canopy is supported by 2 center columns which will not <br /> obstruct traffic or vision. <br /> 2 . Canopy will be lighted and help illuminate intersection. <br /> 3 . State DOT, upon road widening plans on acquiring the property <br /> when project and funding permit. <br /> 4 . Similar variances granted for similar structures. <br /> CONCLUSION: <br /> 1. Variance is not contrary to right of others or to the public <br /> interest. <br /> 2 . Variance preserves the zoning ordinance as much as possible <br /> without injustice to applicant. <br /> Motion carried 4-0. <br />
