MINUTES OF THE MEETING OF THE DANE COUNTY <br /> BOARD OF ADJUSTMENT <br /> COMMITTEE HELD ON March 25, 1993 <br /> 4;110, <br /> The following members were present: Gaskill, Quackenbush, Dreps and Lynch. <br /> Also: Gunderman, Fleck and Reynolds. <br /> Meeting called to order at 6:37 P.M. in Room 2F by Chairman Quackenbush to <br /> hold public hearing as published by Class II Notice. <br /> MINUTES: Gaskill/Lynch to approve minutes of December 17, 1992 and January <br /> 28, 1993. Motion carried - 4-0. <br /> APPEALS FROM PREVIOUS HEARINGS: <br /> #2290 - Weber - Dunn - 8/27/92 P.H. <br /> Gaskill/Dreps to hold request in abeyance to allow it to be incorporated with <br /> Special Exception request by township, abeyance not beyond June Hearing. <br /> Motion carried - 4-0. <br /> #2306. Schubert - Westport - 9/24/92 P.H. <br /> Dreps/Gaskill to hold request until April Hearing at requst of counsel for <br /> appellant. Motion carried - 4-0. <br /> #2344. Abella - Blooming Grove - 12/17/92 P.H. <br /> Dreps/Gaskill to deny requested variance for non-appearance by appellant. <br /> Motion carried - 4-0. <br /> (Or #2358. Gray - Mazomanie - 2/23/92 P.H. <br /> Request was withdrawn by applicant. <br /> APPEALS FROM MARCH 25, 1993 PUBLIC HEARING: <br /> #2359. Appeal by Barry and Kim Engen for a variance from required setback <br /> from road as provided by Section 10.17(2) to permit above ground pool as <br /> constructed at 6492 CTH C in the SW 1/4 NW 1/4 - Section 36, Town of Windsor. <br /> IN FAVOR: K. Engen OPPOSED: --- COMMUNICATION: Town Board <br /> Dreps/Gaskill to hold in abeyance until April Hearing at the request of the <br /> township. <br /> Motion carried - 4-0. <br /> #2360. Appeal by Gerald Bradley, agent for James Bradley for a variance from <br /> required rearyard and distance of accessory buildings to a residential <br /> district for keeping of livestock as provided by Section 10.07(8) and <br /> 10.123(7)(b) to permit dividing existing residence from farm by Certified <br /> Survey Map at 5209 CTH N in the E 1/2 NW 1/4 - Section 28, Town of Sun Prairie. <br /> IN FAVOR: G. Bradley, M. Blaska OPPOSED: --- COMMUNICATION: --- <br /> Gaskill/Dreps to grant both variance requests; first variance of 87 more or <br /> less feet from required separation between accessory building for housing of <br /> livestock and residence district and second request granted is a variance of <br /> 13 more or less feet from required rearyard to permit division of existing <br /> farmhouse from farm property by certified survey map. <br /> FINDING OF FACT: <br /> 1). Existing residence is to be purchased by son of farm owner who is farm <br /> operator. <br /> 2). Pending Ordinance Amendment #31 will allow similar divisions without need <br /> for variances. <br /> 3). Proposed lot line will evenly divide distance between shed and residence. <br />
