Appeal by David and Polly Goepfert and Doral and <br /> Louis Falconer for variance from required setback from road <br /> and sideyard as provided by Sections 10 . 17 (5) and 10. 07 (7) <br /> to permit addition to existing single family residence at <br /> 2041 Skyline Drive being Lot #4, Kegonsa Grove 1st Addition <br /> - Section 29, Town of Pleasant Springs . <br />} IN FAVOR: P. Goepfert OPPOSED: --- COMMUNICATION: --- <br /> SAYLES/GASKILL to hold request to abeyance, not to exceed <br /> the October Public Hearing, to allow for investigation of <br /> land transfer. Motion carried 5-0. <br /> #2756. Appeal by Nancy Vidlak for a variance from required <br /> setback from normal high watermark as provided by Section <br /> 11 . 03 (2) to permit addition to existing residence at 4318 <br /> Jordan Drive being Lot #27 and East 1/2 Lot #28, Block #1, <br /> Brictson Park - Section 8, Town of Dunn. <br /> IN FAVOR: N. Vidlak OPPOSED: -- COMMUNICATION: Town <br /> Board <br /> SAYLES/KAY to grant with condition variance of 16 feet± from <br /> required setback to normal high watermark to permit wood <br /> (1, deck addition to existing residence. <br /> CONDITION: <br /> 1) . That deck commence 4 feet behind setback of existing <br /> residence, extend at right angle from residence a distance <br /> of 6 feet, then angle at 45°±, away from the lake, to a <br /> point that is no more than 10 feet, from and parallel to <br /> existing residence sidewall, then continue away from lake <br /> so as entire completed project not exceed 10' x 16' . <br /> FINDING OF FACT: <br /> P 1) . Deck is 4 feet further from normal high watermark than <br /> is front building line of existing residence. <br /> 2) . Applicant wishes to utilize as deck and emergency exit. <br /> 3) . Property is in an area of numerous non-conforming a <br /> structures and many with variances granted. <br /> CONCLUSION: <br /> 1) . Variance preserves the zoning ordinance as much as <br /> possible without injustice to applicant. <br /> 2) . Variance is not contrary to rights of others or to the <br /> public interest.
