Applicant has begun repair/internal alteration of former barn and converting it to a <br /> building housing a computer software business. <br /> 2). Original request was for commercial use and 2 residential units, to which applicant <br /> has revised floor plans to exclude residential units. <br /> 3). Sections 10.23(2) and (4)Dane County Code of Ordinance. 1950 assessment of <br /> structure is $3,000.00,while ordinance allow 50% of$3,000.00 over life of building. <br /> Applicant estimates cost of alteration at $50,000. <br /> 4). Property is in process of rezone form C-2 to C-1 (2/26/02 Public Hearing- #8363). <br /> Conclusion: <br /> 1). Variance preserves the zoning ordinance as much as possible without injustice to <br /> applicant. <br /> 2). Variance is not contrary to rights of others or to the public interest.
