BOARD OF ADJUSTMENT <br /> MINUTES OF APRIL 27, 2000 <br /> PRESENT: Long, Sayles, Ross, &Kay <br /> ALSO: Reynolds <br /> Meeting called to order at 6:30 P.M.by Chair Kay, in Room 2-F City-County Building,to hold <br /> Public Hearing as published by Class II Notice. <br /> MINUTES: <br /> Ross/Klopp to approve minutes of 3/16/00 and 3/23/00 as submitted. <br /> Motion Carried 4—0. (Sayles Abstain) <br /> APRIL PUBLIC HEARING ITEMS: <br /> #3083. Appeal by Wayne R. Borcherding for a variance from required setback from road as <br /> provided by Section 10.17(4)to permit addition to existing residence at 2727 Tower Road being <br /> Lot#1,Block#2, Greenridge Park Section 9,Town of Dunn. <br /> IN FAVOR: W. Borcherdin OPPOSED: None COMMUNICATION: Town <br /> Board <br /> Sayles/Klopp to grant a variance of 6±feet from required setback to right-of-way of Ridge <br /> Court,to allow proposed addition to extend along existing building line an additional 12 feet. <br /> Finding of Fact; <br /> 1). Applicant has 3 sided(triangular)lot and has frontage and required setbacks from 2 roads. <br /> 2). Ridge Court is a lightly traveled thoughrough fare. <br /> 3). Addition is for expanded living room. <br /> 4). Previous Variance from Ridge Court for residence as exists and carport addition with Tower <br /> Road encroachment(Variance#2334 - 12/17/92). <br /> 5). Property is in an area of numerous nonconforming structures with numerous variances <br /> granted. <br /> Conclusion: <br /> 1). Variance preserves the zoning ordinance as much as possible without injustice to applicant. <br /> 2). Variance is not contrary to rights of others or to the public interest. <br /> Motion carried <br /> #3084. (Withdrawn). <br /> #3085. Appeal by Daniel Hartwig for variances from required setbacks from roads, sideyard and <br /> maximum height and area of accessory building as provided by Sections 10.17(4), 10.16(4)and <br /> (6), 10.07(3)and 10.04(1)to permit garage construction at 2996 Waubesa Avenue being Lot <br /> #18, Block#1,Waubesa Beach Section 5,Town of Dunn. <br /> IN FAVOR: D.Hartwig OPPOSED: None COMMUNICATION: Town Board <br /> Sayles/Long to hold request until May Hearing to allow applicant to revisit the Town with <br /> revised plans. Motion carried. 4—0. (Kay abstain) <br />
