Reynolds. <br /> KLOPP/SAYLES to grant variance of 5 feet from minimum required distance from <br /> right-of-way, required for signage, to permit awning sign as constructed. <br /> Finding of fact: <br /> 1). Applicant has withdrawn requested variance, from setback, for entryway(and has <br /> since removed structure). <br /> 2). Variance(signage) is a re-apply of#2682 which was approved 11/16/95 and permit <br /> not obtained. <br /> 3). Signage as well as front 4 feet of tavern is within Town of Burke right-of-way of <br /> Portage Road. <br /> 4). Signage poses not danger to traffic as its 7±feet above and extends only 18 inches <br /> from wall of building. <br /> Conclusion: <br /> 1). Variance preserves the zoning ordinance as much as possible without injustice to <br /> applicant. <br /> 2). Variance is not contrary to rights of others or to the public interest. <br /> Motion carried—4-0.
