Motion carried - 4-0. (Sayles, abstain) . <br /> MAY PUBLIC HEARING ITEMS: <br /> #3023. Appeal by Skipper Marine of Madison, Inc. for a <br /> variance from required setback from normal high watermark as <br /> provided by Section 11 .03 (2) to permit above-ground fuel <br /> storage tank at 5442 County Highway M in the NE 1/4 SE 1/4 <br /> Section 22, Town of Westport. <br /> IN FAVOR: B. Fleck, M. Degner OPPOSED: --- <br /> COMMUNICATION: Department of Natural Resources, Regional <br /> Planning Commission, Town Board <br /> KLOPP/KAY. to hold request in abeyance until June Hearing to <br /> allow applicant to provide requested materials. Motion <br /> carried - 3-2 (Ross and Long, no) . <br /> #3024 . Appeal by Michael A. Maerz for a variance from <br /> required sideyard as provided by Sections 10. 123 (7) and <br /> 10.05 (7) to permit addition/alteration of existing residence <br /> at 2034 Skyline Drive in the SW 1/4 NW 1/4 Section 29, Town <br /> of Pleasant Springs. <br /> IN FAVOR: M. Maerz OPPOSED: --- COMMUNICATION: Town <br /> Board <br /> KLOPP/LONG to grant variance of 0.7 feet from required right <br /> sideyard to permit residence as constructed. <br /> Finding of Fact: <br /> 1) . Residence constructed 35± years ago and constructed in <br /> error at that time. <br /> 2) . Proposal is to convert attached garage to living space <br /> (kitchen and living room expansion) . <br /> 3) . The footprint of structure remains unchanged while the <br /> use is altered. <br /> 4) . Applicant constructed a new detached residential garage <br /> and corresponding survey disclosed encroachment. <br />
