. 52501,5074E:7
Rochelle Rosa'
5633 Oak Park Rd.
Marshall, WI . 53559
Dane County Zoning Department
Room 116, City-County Building
Madison, Wisconsin 53709
August 22, 1992
RE:
Zoning Petition #5417
Location; 5645 Oak Park Rd. Section 16, NW SW
Town: Medina
Area: 2 .1 acres more or less
Mary R. Siedschlag' s request to change the zoning of her property from
A-1, exclusive agriculture, to A-2( 2) , agriculture and also allow for
limited family business and boarding kennel on same property.
To whom it may concern;
As the owner and resident of the home (5633 Oak Park Rd. )
immediately adjacent to Ms . Siedschlag ' s property. I would like it
know, that in principle I do not object to Ms . Siedschlag ' s petition
to change the zoning of her property. However, I do object to the
proposed location of Ms. Siedschlag' s boarding kennel .
As I understand the situation, Ms . Siedschlag has proposed to
build a boarding kennel with the capacity of 20 dogs, to be located on
the site that is presently indicated on her property . This location
is only seventy-two feet from my residence! I understand that Ms .
Siedschlag has planned some measures designed to reduce barking and
other noise that is inherent to a boarding kennel . I do not believe
these efforts will be effective. A boarding kennel, the resulting
noise (barking, etc. ) and traffic and the proposed location, will not
only be a nuisance to myself and family but I believe will
dramatically effect the fair market value of my property.
Your consideration and assistance will be greatly appreciated.
Sincerely;
Rochelle Rosa'
