Miller to divide his property for the <br /> purpose of building a second home. It is very difficult for <br /> me to speak publicly and I hope this letter will be included <br /> in the record . <br /> There are several points I would like to make : <br /> 1 . My husband Bob and I are the owners of Lot 10, Hillcrest <br /> Acres and we are opposed to this rezoning. <br /> 2 . Given the layout of Hillcrest Acres and the two <br /> properties on Hahn Road, I feel it would not be good <br /> planning to have a house located directly in the center. <br /> (see map) <br /> 3 . Mr . Miller indicated he has lived in this area 20 years <br /> and wants to build his retirement home on the site. <br /> Although he has lived here 20 years , his house has been for <br /> sale on and off for more than 10 years . There is a <br /> perpetual "For Sale" sign in his yard . I would submit the <br /> chances are very good he is asking for this rezoning only to <br /> subdivide the property to make it more saleable . Once the <br /> zoning is changed, he will be able to do as he wishes . <br /> 4 . I feel the proposed driveway along the back of the <br /> Dekorra Road lots would not be safe and would lower their <br /> property values . <br /> Finally, if you should decide to approve this subdivision, <br /> please be advised that the lots in Hillcrest Acres , which <br /> surround the subject property, are deed restricted and I <br /> would ask that any additional house built in this area at <br /> least comply with those same deed restrictions and be <br /> included with any approval . <br /> Thank you for your consideration. <br /> Sincerely, <br /> Darlene K.
