This proposed dental lab is in an existing farm house on a <br /> farm in the farmland preservation area of the Town of Vermont. The adopted <br /> town/county policy on this subject speaks to limited commercial , small contractors, <br /> etc. as provided for In the LC-1 Zoning District . The proposed activity is similar <br /> to a home occupation, but requires some equipment for fabricating dental crowns and <br /> bridges, plus one part-time employee Is proposed. <br /> This is a very remote narrow town road; however , the activity does not appear to <br /> generate much extra traffic. There are no close neighbors at this location. <br /> If this is approved, it should have conditions such as: <br /> - use confined to the specific activity noted on the application <br /> - activity limited to the interior of the existing building proposed In the <br /> application <br /> - any proposed expansion would probably require relocation to a suitable <br /> commercial area. <br /> Environmental Health Dept.
