Landphier, Clerk <br /> Subject : Results of Special Town Meeting; this date <br /> Pursuant to s . 60. 1.2 , Stats . , electors of the Town of Cottage <br /> Grove , representing more than 1.0% of the votes cast in the Town <br /> in the last Governor ' s election requested that a Special Town <br /> Meeting be held to reverse or sustain the February 1 , 1.993 action <br /> of the Cottage Grove Town Board . This action approved Conditional <br /> Use Permit #].02] request by William Paulson, to expand his quarry <br /> operation by 36 acres in Section 4 , Town of Cottage Grove. A <br /> copy of the petition is attached for your information. <br /> ***** ***** ***** ***** <br /> The Special Town Meeting was held on March 1.7th, 1.993 in the <br /> Town of Cottage Grove Town Hall . Action was as follows : <br /> Motion was made and seconded that it be resolved that <br /> 4 the electors of the Town of Cottage Grove , Dane County, <br /> Wisconsin in attendance at the Special Town Meeting held <br /> this 1.7th day of March, 1.993 , do authorize and direct the <br /> Town Board of the Town of Cottage Grove to reverse their <br /> previous action to approve the C.U. P. #].02]. . . . and . . .to <br /> so notify the County Board and the Zoning Committee of <br /> this direction. This Resolution shall be continuing . <br /> A request for paper ballot was made by Town Chairman, <br /> Eugene Skaar. After some discussion as to how the vote <br /> should be taken, ballots were distributed to eligible <br /> electors of the Town and an observed count was taken. <br /> The vote was 93 in favor and 24 against the Resolution. <br /> Motion Carried. <br /> / , <br /> aurna J.
