Paulson : <br /> This letter is in reply to your inquiry regarding how the Wingra <br /> Stone Quarry has affected sales in our subdivisions adjacent to <br /> the quarry. <br /> Midland Builders , Inc . has developed Prairie .Hills Addition to <br /> Meadowood and Prairie Gardens subdivision immediately abutting <br /> the stone quarry owned by Wingra, which is located on the north- <br /> west corner of Highway PD and Verona Road. We have been selling <br /> homes in this area for several years and until last year on land <br /> immediately adjacent to Wingra ' s quarry . As a service to our <br /> buyers we have them sign a map of the area which shows all the <br /> zoning of the property and the surrounding properties so there <br /> can be no questions as to their knowledge as to what uses are <br /> planned near their homes . <br /> Last year and this year we are selling homes as fast as we can <br /> build them, and have found the quarry has had no bad effect on <br /> the sales of our homes .
