August 3, 1992 <br /> Dane County Zoning <br /> ATTN: Mr Steve Reynolds <br /> Dear Mr Reynolds: <br /> We, the undersigned owners of property located at 3254 Hwy T, <br /> Madison, WI, Town of Burke, hereby request a zoning change for our <br /> property for the following reasons. <br /> We ptlechased this property from my brother Rodney J. McGuire and <br /> his wife Julie A. McGuire on February 28, 1989. At the time of closing <br /> we obtained a WHEDA 1st Home Buyer Loan, 30 year fixed rate. At the <br /> present time we are in process of re-finance to obtain a lower rate of <br /> interest, and have been pre-qualified to do this at Anchor Bank, Madison <br /> for this lower rate mortgage. However, due to underwriting changes we <br /> cannot re-finance this property until we obtain a zoning change to resid- <br /> ential zoning, we presently have a C-1 zoning. We have been informed <br /> that all banking facilities are requiring residential zoning if used as <br /> residential. This property has been used as residential only for approx <br /> 20 years, and prior to that it was farmland/woods. <br /> We have also been informed that Banks will not issue fixed rate <br /> mortgages for non-conforming use properties such as ours.
