April 4, 1991 <br /> 7 Ms. Sharon Bisgard - Chair <br /> Dane County Zoning and Natural Resources Committee <br /> City-County Building <br /> Madison, WI 53707 <br /> Mr. Harland Dahlk - Vice Chair <br /> Dane County Zoning and-Natural Resources Committee <br /> City-County Building <br /> Madison, WI 53707 <br /> RE: Rezoning Petition - #4990 <br /> Dear Ms. Bisgard and Mr. Dahlk: <br /> The purpose of this-letter is to inform you that I am requesting <br /> that the above-captioned petition, which I filed on behalf of the <br /> Bernard Zwettler Estate, be amended in two respects. <br /> These amendments stem from my desire to accommodate concerns <br /> expressed by Mr. John Rowley, an owner of property adjacent to <br /> the parcel subject to this petition. <br /> I have indicated in several recent discussions with Mr. Rowley <br /> that I am willing to accept a deed restriction on the RH-3 <br /> parcels created by this petition which recognize the operation of <br /> his salvage yard prior to creation of these parcels. I have also <br /> indicated I am willing to accept a deed restriction on any RH-3 <br /> parcel contiguous to his property which prohibits the <br /> construction of any building within 150 feet of his property <br /> line. <br /> Accordingly, I respectfully request that the Zoning and Natural <br /> Resources Committee of the Dane County Board give consideration <br /> to approval of the following amendments to petition #4990: <br /> 1. Amend to include a condition pursuant to ss 10. 255 (3) <br /> Dane County Code of Ordinances that a statement <br /> recognizing the existence of the adjacent salvage yard <br /> operation and the owner's rights to continue said <br /> operation be recorded on the face of the title for any <br /> parcels created by division of this property which are <br /> zoned RH-3 Residential. <br /> 2 . Amend to include a condition pursuant to ss 10 . 255 (3) <br /> Dane County Code of Ordinances that a statement <br /> prohibiting the construction of any buildings within <br />
