This proposed mineral extraction site Is In a farmland <br /> preservation area of the Town of Springfield. Plan policy requires <br /> compatibility with the surrounding land uses. <br /> This site is wooded and surrounded by farmland. <br /> The application indicates the site will be reclaimed as farmland. The <br /> subdivision with houses on virtually every lot Is on a hill overlooking <br /> the site. <br /> Compatibility could be aided by having a relatively short period of <br /> extraction and reclamation. <br /> E.H.D. — Petition 5013 and CUP 918 No objection to this petition. <br /> Co.
