This proposed residential rezoning Is In the Deerfield <br /> urban service area. As was previously pointed out in review of Petition <br /> 4880, the general policy of the Farmland Preservation Plan Is: <br /> "Unsewered residential or commercial development should not be permitted <br /> In areas where towns have future sewered development.' <br /> Petition 4880 was ultimately approved with the rationale that the plat <br /> would provide the alternate road access for Simonson Lane. <br /> Now the policy question Is whether to rezone this 3-acre parcel to R-1 <br /> and allow It to be part of the plat. the rationale of extending the <br /> alternate roadway north from London Road no longer exists.
