OW I <br /> April 11, 1991 <br /> Outline of activity to obtain Conditional Use Permit : <br /> 1-16-91 Telephoned Steve Ziegler, Planning Commission-Town of <br /> Middleton, and explained our request . It was suggested I speak <br /> with Bill Fleck at Dane County Zoning, and made an appointment to <br /> attend the February 6th, 1991 Planning Commission meeting. <br /> 1-22-91 Telephoned Bill Fleck at Dane County Zoning. He <br /> suggested to request for a Conditional Use Permit as opposed to <br /> rezoning. Mr. Fleck told us that Dane County Zoning had no say <br /> on the liquor license and that decision would only be made by <br /> the Town of Middleton. Was informed of the application fee and <br /> was told to meet with the Middleton Town Board . <br /> 2-05-91 Went to the Dane County Zoning office in Madison and <br /> spoke with Hank Sciffer. He again agreed that a Conditional Use <br /> Permit would be the best option but first would need to meet with <br /> the Middleton Town Board . <br /> 2-06-91 Attended the Planning Commission meeting for the Town of <br /> Middleton. Presented our case to the commission and explained <br /> what the business was to consist of. The Commission suggested we <br /> talk with the surrounding neighbors, check with the Town of <br /> Middleton Engineer, Don Mayo on the drive way situation, and make <br /> sure our name was on the list of those requesting a liquor <br /> license . The Planning Commission had no problems with our <br /> informal request and suggested we follow through with their <br /> suggestions. <br /> 2-25-91 Attended the meeting of the Middleton Town Board. Nancy <br /> Schook said we would have to talk with Dane County Zoning first. <br /> We informed her we had done that already and that Dane County <br /> said next to discuss it with the Town Board. The Board didn't <br /> seem to be able to agree on if we were qualified for a <br />
