PUBLIC HEARING ZONING (ZNR) AND NATURAL RESOURCES This public hearing is being held as required by Wisconsin Statute and is being heard by the Dane County ZNR. Shary Bisgard is Chair and other members are: Lyman Anderson, Michael Blaska, David Cieslewicz, Harland Dahlk, Sally Mackie, John. Proctor. The Zoning Committee has been delegated by the County Board to consider zoning matters and Conditional Use Permits. The Committee makes recommendations on zoning matters to the County Board which makes the final decision. Conditional Use Permits are decided by this Committee. PUBLIC HEARING PROCEDURE: 1. Testimony is recorded on tape. If you wish to copy the tape, please contact Dane County Zoning - 266-4266, Rm. #116, City-County Bldg. 2. Minutes will only show the names of those appearing and the position they have taken on the proposal. 3. Applications are heard in order by date of application. 4. Those wishing to testify are requested to come to the podium and state their name and address for the record. Please limit remarks to 5 minutes. 5. Debate between parties is not permitted. All questions shall be directed to the Chair of the Committee. 6. Order of appearances: a). Applicant or agent - explanation of proposal. b). Others in favor of the..proposal - explain support. c). Those opposed - explain opposition. d) . Town Board (Note: The Committee will not make a decision on any matter until the Town Board has taken action on the matter). e). Staff comments, communications, etc.,. f). Rebuttal by applicant or agent. 7. Action by the zNR Committee is not generally taken at the public hearing but is scheduled for a meeting held 2 weeks after the public hearing. This is an open public meeting which you may attend but is not a public hearing. Agendas are posted in the Office of the County Clerk or you may call Dane County Zoning - 266-4266. a. Zoning matters - recommendation to County Board. b. Conditional Use Permit - granted/denied by ZNR Committee. 8. County Board meetings to consider zoning matters are scheduled the first Thursday of each month. this is an open public meeting which you may attend. The meeting is held in Room #201, City-County Bldg. 7:30 p.m. NOTE: If you wish to speak at the County Board Meeting you must register at the County Clerk's Office, Room #112, City-County Bldg. - 7:45 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Mon. - Fri. or, registration may be submitted in the County Board Room #201 prior to 7:30 p.m. the night of the meeting.
