April 9, 1979 -Thom Grenlie set a 2" Pipe at the corner on a straight line between the SW and NW corners of the section. A hard head stone was found on this line 22 chains proportioned north of the SW corner. (Ref. May 26, 1874 resurvey Vol. 5, P. 160 Blue Books.) This stone is at the same proportionate distance as the entire west line of Section 8. August 6, 1986 - Roger Schneeberger found a 2" Iron Pipe at the corner as set by Grenlie. Schneeberger accepted the location of the 2" Iron Pipe as being the location of the corner and set a Dane County aluminum monument in its place. July 13, 1993 - Ronald Williamson found the aluminum monument as set by Schneeberger and accepted the location of the monument. (j) I, Kevin C.
