The 1" pipe was directly over an existing 2 1/2" diameter cast iron monument found <br /> flush with the old original concrete pavement which is 14" below the present pavement surface. The cast iron <br /> monument is accepted as being over the concrete resurvey monument set for the 1911 Town of Albion <br /> resurvey per field notes by P.H. Hintze filed in C.S. fieldbook 56 on Pg. 42 and per the notes on the Highway <br /> 51 road plans of 1926, W.H.C. Job No. D 200. Reference also to G. Weir Fieldbook 490, Pg. 9 and 10 for tie <br /> from railroad spike to house corner(house is now gone)and to 1911 resurvey map recorded in Vol. 5 of plats <br /> on Pg. 7 and 7A and C.S. fieldbook 173. <br /> July 10, 1989 -George Weir found the Aluminum Monument and ties shown on the Northrop monument <br /> record. <br /> October 24, 2013 -John Krebs found an aluminum monument and notes no tie sheet of record existed and all <br /> ties were missing. Krebs set 4 new ties and the aluminum monument cap was reset and a drill hole was set in <br /> the aluminum cap. <br /> (j) I, Kevin C.
