August 1971 -Arden Sandsnes reestablished the corner by old ties and proportionate method. September 15, 1981 - Glen Northrop found a 1" iron pipe below an existing railroad spike at the present surface of Highway 51. The 1" pipe was directly over an existing 2 1/2" diameter cast iron monument found flush with the old original concrete pavement which is 14" below the present pavement surface. The cast iron monument is accepted as being over the concrete resurvey monument set for the 1911 Town of Albion resurvey per field notes by P.H. Hintze filed in C.S. fieldbook 56 on Pg. 42 and per the notes on the Highway 51 road plans of 1926, W.H.C. Job No. D 200. Reference also to G. Weir Fieldbook 490, Pg. 9 and 10 for tie from railroad spike to house corner(house is now gone)and to 1911 resurvey map recorded in Vol. 5 of plats on Pg. 7 and 7A and C.S. fieldbook 173. July 10, 1989 -George Weir found the Aluminum Monument and ties shown on the Northrop monument record. October 24, 2013 -John Krebs found an aluminum monument and notes no tie sheet of record existed and all ties were missing. Krebs set 4 new ties and the aluminum monument cap was reset and a drill hole was set in the aluminum cap. (j) I, Kevin C.
