The distance measured <br /> from this corner, North to the center of Leslie Road, or the approximate location of the 1/4 corner is within 1 <br /> foot of the distance recorded by Long (2640.5'). The position is also checked by the true bearing from the S1/4 <br /> of Section 23 to this corner, which is within 00°02' of Marcy's solar bearing. The corner also agrees with the <br /> 40 line fence to the East, and equally divides the 40 and 1/4 lines to the West on the fence lines. The corner <br /> was unable to be excavated due to deep frost. A railroad spike was set for the corner. <br /> (j) I, Kevin C.
