DANE COUNTY APPLICATION FOR REZONE Item No.: 25.
Zoning Petition it 5043 In Judith C. Lewis to change the zoning from the A-1
Exclusive Agriculture district to the RH-1 Rural Homes and LC-1 Limited
Commercial district.
Location: 2815 Koshkonong Road Section 17, NE NW Town Pleasant Springs
Area: 3.8 more or less Acres
Proposed use: Make conforming existing parcel and excavating contractor
storage. D.B.A. No.
ANALYSIS;
5043 The rezone will provide appropriate zoning for the parcel and compliance
for an existing contractor business. The rezone complies with land use
plans.
CONCERNS EXPRESSED AT/AFTER PUBLIC HEARING;
STAFF COMMENTSz
R.P.C. - Petition 5043. This proposed contractor site Is a substandard parcel in
the agricultural preservation area of the Town of Pleasant Springs.
The RH-1 rezoning allows a single family home to replace the mobile home
which now exists.
The adopted town/county policy allows for non-agricultural commercial
uses if they are limited to small businesses which do not require use of
prime agricultural land. This site appears to meat that criteria and Is
somewhat wooded, thus screening the activity from the residential
subdivision to the west.
E.H.D. -
Co. Hwy. -
