The new building will <br /> be located directly behind (north) of the existing center. It <br /> will be a single story brick structure of approximately 23 ,800 <br /> square feet. <br /> The project is now in the stage of final drawings, and a bid <br /> date is expected in June, 1991. Construction should take <br /> approximately fourteen months, and occupancy is expected about <br /> August, 1992 . <br /> The property has been used for a correctional center since 1962 . <br /> It is our belief that this continued government use of the land <br /> for inmates of the same security classification is appropriate. <br /> Should you desire any additional information, please contact <br /> Barbara Carlson at 266-9340.
