Modl
This letter is being written to' you on behalf of the Town of SabinCSleterson
Westport. In 1986, the Town of Westport approved Zoning Thomas W.Shellander
Petition #3741 which had been submitted by Richard and Terese Terry J. Finman
Potthast relative to certain property owned by them on
Westport Road (approximately 6.6 acres) . The Petition was to
rezone said premises for multi-family residences (R-4
residential district) . The Town approved the rezoning on the
condition that development of the land be restricted to 60
units as per the plan presented by the Town to the Dane County
Board of Supervisors, and accordingly the lands described in
the Petition were rezoned subject to said condition.
We now understand that the southeasterly two acres of the
rezoned parcel will be transferred to the Heritage Foundation
for conservancy purposes along with other lands and that said
two acres will ultimately be rezoned "conservancy. "
Therefore, please be advised that in applying the 60-units
restriction as to the 4.6 acres, more or less, remaining with
the Potthasts, the Town intends that said remaining parcel be
limited to development into only those units which the plat
shows would have been developed on such remaining portion of
the 6.6 acres. We believe the exact number can be determined
by mathematical computations upon a scaled drawing of the plan
originally submitted.
