We built the
7-Unit apartment building at 320 Coyier Lane in 1969, 22 years
ago. It was our understanding, all these years, that these
buildings were conforming because we had an architect and the
plans were approved. The proposed use of the buildings will be
the same as it is now, multi-family housing units. The one at 300
Coyier Lane, a three-unit apartment building, and the one at 320
Coyier Lane, a seven-unit apartment building.
This is our livelihood and if there was considerable damage from
any disaster such as a fire or tornado we would not be able to
re-build. These two buildings are in excellent condition and it
seems that a grandfather clause should allow them to conform. We
do have the buildings up for sale and it is a significant
deterrent for a prospective buyer. These are the reasons we are
requesting a zone change.
Dated .5//9/ Signed Q^ r,Y ,
"Aief-44-Av-,--)"( 1
