It was identified that the crawlspace floor <br /> and lack of ventilation for the crawlspace may not meet flood plain standards. <br /> Under Dane County Code of Ordinance section 17.06(30)Floodproofing.Any combination of structural <br /> provisions, changes or adjustments to properties and structures, water and sanitary facilities and contents of <br /> buildings subject to flooding, for the purpose of reducing or eliminating flood damage. <br /> This letter serves as notice that your property at 396 Lake Shore Dr may be in violation of the flood plain <br /> ordinance. The crawlspace area may not meet flood plain standards. <br /> You are hereby instructed to have the crawlspace floor at elevation 784 feet or above(unless gravel)and the cavity <br /> walls need to have two openings with the equivalent space of 1 sq. in. per 1 sq. ft.of enclosed area subject to <br /> flooding within 30 days of the date of this letter.
