The proposed <br /> rezone complies with land use plans. <br /> CONCERNS EXPRESSED AT/AFTER PUBLIC HEARING; <br /> STAFF COMMENTS; <br /> Petition 5079. These proposed non-farm residential lots are In an <br /> R.P.C. - agricultural preservation area In the Town of Berry. They appear to <br /> meet the adopted town/county criteria except this one: "Land where <br /> development would not destroy wetlands and steep slopes. " <br /> The site Is a steep sloped-wooded hillside along Enchanted Valley Road. <br /> There may be some suitable sites along this frontage, but not all of it . <br /> Any approval should be conditioned upon an erosion control plan approved <br /> by staff to minimize destruction of trees and erosion of the hillside. <br /> E.H.D. - Petition 5079 Soil data for two of the four sites has been <br /> reviewed and found to be suitable, still need to review soil <br /> information data for other two lots. <br /> Co.
