D.E.D. No. <br /> ANALYSIS: <br /> CONCERNS EXPRESSED AT/AFTER PUBLIC HEARING; <br /> STAFF COMMENTS; <br /> R.P.C. _ Petition 5082. This proposed commercial site Is In an agricultural <br /> preservation district of the Town of Oregon. The house and large garage <br /> are existing. <br /> The relevant town/county policy is: "Only commercial uses clearly <br /> related to or compatible with agricultural production should be <br /> permitted in the agricultural preservation district . " <br /> School bus storage Is not agricultural , but buses are often kept in <br /> rural locations since they function to transport rural students to <br /> Schools in the village. <br /> While this use may be compatible, the C-2 commercial zoning allows many <br /> heavy commercial and Industrial uses which are Incompatible, <br /> particularly with the many homes In the subdivision to the east . It <br /> Would appear that the Limited Commercial District would be a more <br /> appropriate zoning district .' If for some reason LC-1 zoning will not <br /> work, there should be very specific limits placed on any C-2 zoning. <br /> Co. Hwy. <br /> • <br />
