DANE COUNTY REGIONAL AIRPORT <br /> /.\ <br /> 4000 International Lane Madison, WI 53704 P 60$ • 246 • 3380 F. 608 • 246 • 3385 msnairport.com PR1 <br /> July 13, 2016 DANE <br /> COUNTY <br /> REGIONAL <br /> Scott Schroeckenthaler A I R P O R T <br /> Zoning Inspector MADISON <br /> Dane County Zoning Division <br /> 210 Martin Luther King Jr. Blvd. <br /> Department of Planning and Development <br /> Room 116, City-County Building <br /> Madison, WI 53703-3342 <br /> Re: Permit Application under§78.06 Dane County Ordinance <br /> Tower Crane <br /> 43-05-03.81 N NAD83 <br /> 89-22-16.93W <br /> Dear Mr, Schroeckenthaler: <br /> Below are the conditions the Airport requests the Zoning Administrator establish <br /> for issuance of the permit. <br /> CONDITIONS APPLICABLE TO TOWER CRANE PERMIT: <br /> (1) Applicant shall comply with all conditions and recommendations set forth in <br /> the Determination Letter regarding Federal Aviation Administration Aeronautical <br /> Study No. 2016-AGL-4995-OE. <br /> (2) Prior to erecting the construction crane, applicant shall provide the on duty <br /> Airport Operations Supervisor, Dane County Regional Airport (office: <br /> 608.246.3397, cell: 608.235.1001), with the name and telephone number of an <br /> individual(s) having authority over operation and placement of the crane while it <br /> is on the construction site and, upon request, shall arrange a meeting between <br /> Airport staff and the contractor that will be operating the crane. <br /> (3) Applicant shall, at least three days before the crane height will reach 1,061 <br /> feet MSL, provide notice to Airport Operations. <br /> (4) At all times the highest point of the crane shall be marked during daylight <br /> hours with an orange and white checkered construction flag measuring at least <br /> three feet by three feet, and with a red obstruction light, with a minimum intensity <br /> of 32.5 candela,from two hours before sunset until two hours after sunrise and <br /> during periods of reduced visibility.. <br />
