U.S. Public Land Survey Monument Record CityofiMdediNo 710028MCE East Meander Corner for South Quarter-Corner of Section 6,TO7N R10E, Dane County Wisconsin NOTES: 1. Date of survey Mar 18, 2016. 2.This is a meander corner. See Sandsnes Jan 5 2016 record (or later)for true corner location information. 3.There is some uncertainty in the location of this meander corner monument. I found a magnail in asphalt(P1) as shown on CSM 11465.The brass cap per Sandsnes Apr 6 2004 record is under pavement if it still exists, and being on private property I did not excavate.The Sandsnes Apr 6 2004 record was revised on July 20 2007 and Jan 5 2016;the 4 witness ties were not revised. I computed a monument location (P2) by best-fit of the Sandsnes ties to the found witness points. The best fit is to the brick building east corner(P5) and garage siding corners(P7& 10, not foundation P8& P9), but there is a-1.5 foot discrepancy to the chimney east corner(P6). That Sandsnes tie(545°47'49"W 39.60 ft)does not match another nearby building corner.The 3-point fit to P5, P7 & P10 is within 0.1 foot in bearing and distance.The garage owner verified that the siding was the same in 2004. Horizontal distances from P2 to P5 and from P2 to P6 match the distances on the Thousand Dec 10, 1963 record to 0.01 foot. Also, relative to the Sandsnes monument coordinates(N=488803.56, E=828837.85 US Survey feet), my county coordinates for best-fit point P2 are closer(0.06 ft N, 0.05 ft W)than magnail P1 (0.07 ft S, 0.15 ft E). Some of that shift is datum shit. My magnail P1 elevation is 860.76 ft, 0.43 ft higher than the Sandnes brass cap elevation 860.33 ft. This is consistent with repaving,and vertical datum is the same, but my and the Sandsnes elevations are measured from GPS base stations, not a local bench mark. 4. Horizontal coordinates are Dane County Coordinates, U.S. Survey feet, NAD83(2007) datum, computed from a combined adjustment of total station measurements and RTK GPS measurements from the Emil Street base station(MAON)at 43°02'12.78285"N, 89°24'34.27099"W(Fasting 814396.30, Northing 469050.00 U.S. Survey feet).The Wisconsin Coordinate Reference Systems(WISCRS) parameters were used to compute Fasting, Northing coordinates. Elevations are in the NAVD88(1991)datum (the original adjustment), determined from the same adjustment as for the horizontal coordinates,from the Emil Street base station at ellipsoid height 815.84 ft(bottom of antenna mount), NAD 83(2011)(EPOCH 2010.00)datum.The GEOID12A geoid model was used with a constant-0.17 ft shift to convert to NAVD 88(1991) elevations.
