Sutter,County Conservationist <br /> DATE: July 9, 2008 <br /> TO: Scott and Angela Ahlman <br /> Owners <br /> FROM: Jeremy Balousek, P.E. <br /> Urban Conservation Engineer <br /> RE: Ahlman Driveway and Residence—Erosion Control Permit,EC2008-0142 <br /> The submitted erosion control plan meets the needs of the site and includes the following <br /> requirements: <br /> 1. The site may only be accessed off Messerschmidt Drive using a stone tracking pad. The <br /> pad must be a minimum of 50' long x 24' wide x 12" deep and be constructed of 3-inch <br /> clear stone. No other site access may be used and material deposited in the road will be <br /> cleaned up throughout and at the end of each workday. <br /> 2. Silt fence must be installed prior to grading at the locations shown on the plan and where <br /> deemed necessary, including down slope of all soil stockpiles. The silt fence must be <br /> maintained until the site is stabilized. <br /> 3. Rock check dams must be installed every 100' in the driveway swale as shown on the <br /> plan. The check dams are to be installed immediately upon achieving final grade in the <br /> swale. <br /> 4. Disturbed areas adjacent to the proposed home must be heavily straw or woodchip <br /> mulched once rough graded. Mulch material must be added as necessary to maintain <br /> ground cover. <br /> 5. Grading must be confined to the areas shown on the plan. No material storage,vehicle <br /> traffic or grading may occur outside the"limit of disturbed area" as indicated on the plan. <br /> In the event any of these areas are disturbed, additional erosion control measures will be <br /> required. <br /> 6.
