This was apparently <br /> set by proportionate measurement. I T5N R6E <br /> Checked to monuments 1/2 mile North, East, and West <br /> and a monument 1 mile South of this corner. I also checked to occupied corners <br /> 1/4 mile North and West and also an East-West fenceline approximately 1/4 mile <br /> East. I accepted North-South fence remains found in the immediate area for <br /> the corner's East-West position. I established the corner's North-South <br /> position by taking all other aforementioned evidence into consideration and <br /> choosing a best-fit position. Used my location and did not accept Cheney's. <br /> (C) In the plan view drawing below, provide reference ties to at least 4 witness monuments, or, if the <br /> location is within a municipality, to at least 2 witness monuments. (Witness monuments shall be made <br /> of concrete, natural stone, iron or other equally durable material.) Describe witness monuments. <br /> (D) Show a plan view drawing depicting the relevant monuments and the reference ties which is <br /> sufficient in detail to enable accurate relocation of the corner monument if the corner monument is <br /> disturbed.
