A copy of this notice is <br /> enclosed. <br /> Inspection has disclosed that ordinance requirements have not been complied with. <br /> Chapter 2 Dane County Ordinances, Section 2.03(2) and (3), provides that citations <br /> may be issued for enforcement of the Dane County Zoning Ordinance; and/or, <br /> The Dane County Zoning Ordinance provides under Section 10.25(5) that any person or <br /> persons, firm, company or corporation either owner, occupant or other user of the <br /> premises, who violates, disobeys, omits, neglects or refuses to comply with or <br /> resists the enforcement of any of the provisions of this ordinance shall be subject <br /> to a forfeiture of not less than five dollars, nor more than two hundred dollars <br /> and costs. Each day that a violation is permitted to exist shall constitute a <br /> separate offense. Compliance herewith shall be enforced by injunctional order at <br /> the suite of the county or occupant of real estate within the district affected by <br /> the regulations of this ordinance. It shall not be necessary to prosecute for <br /> forfeiture before resorting to injunctional proceedings. <br /> Any person who has the ability to pay any forfeiture entered against him under this <br /> ordinance but refuses to do so may be confined in the county jail until such <br /> forfeiture is paid, but in no event to exceed thirty (30) days. In determining <br /> whether an individual has the ability to pay a forfeiture, all items of income and <br /> all assets are subject to garnishment, lien or attachment by creditors. <br /> You are hereby notified that compliance will be expected no later than <br /> February 13, 1991 .
