Krell Property Wetland Determination and Delineation
November 15,2005 Town of Verona,Dane County,Wisconsin
NRC Project#05-260
INTRODUCTION
Natural Resources Consulting(NRC)conducted a wetland determination and delineation on the Krell
Property(the"Property")on November 15,2005. The Property includes approximately 16 acres at 2791
White Crossing Road,Town of Verona,Wisconsin. The Property is in the northeastern'A of the
southwestern'A of Section 7,Township 6 North,Range 8 East,Dane County,Wisconsin(Figure 1).
The objective of the wetland determination d delineation was to provide an estimate of the extent and
spatial arrangement of wetlands within the roperty. Most wetlands are considered waters of the U.S.and
are therefore subject t iir gulation under th Clean Water Act(CWA). Specifically,non-isolated wetlands
arii
are regulated under Section 404 of the CW and the jurisdictional regulatory authority lies with the
United States Army Corps of Engineers(U ACE). Additionally, the Wisconsin Department of Natural
Resources(WDNR)has regulatory authori over wetlands, navigable waters, and adjacent lands under
Chapter 30 Wisconsin State Statutes,Act 6,and NR 103 Wisconsin Administrative Code. The Town of
a.
Veronand/or Dane County may have additional regulatory authority through shoreland or wetland
zoning oidinances.
NRC understands the requested services to include:
1. Complete wetland determinations within the Property.
2. Flag wetland/upland boundarie$within the Property.
3. Survey wetland boundaries with a GPS.
II
Natural Resources Consulting,Inc. Page 2
Specializing in wetland, biological and environmental permitting services
