' Krell Property Wetland Determination and Delineation November 15,2005 Town of Verona,Dane County,Wisconsin NRC Project#05-260 Upland The northeastern and eastern parts of the P perry are uplands. A residence,barn,and stable are near the northeastern corner of the Property,and 1 d adjacent to the stable is used for pasture. The hill on the northern side of the property supports a sp rse woods,dominated by red oak(Quercus rubra)and bur oak (Quercus macrocarpa). Ground vegetatio is primarily Canada bluegrass(Poa compressa). The vegetation community on the hill slope on the eastern side of the Property consists of ground cover species,primarily Canada bluegrass. Observations of soil profiles agreed with the soils mapping of the areas,and did not indicate the presence or former presence of hydric soils. Evidence of wetland hydrology was not observed in the upland areas. Other Environmental Considerations This report is limited to the identification o state and/or federally regulated wetlands. In addition,there may be other regulated environmental feat es within the Property. These environmental features may include;but are not limited to historical or theological features,endangered or threatened species, designated environmental corridors,floodplains,and/or navigable waters. Prior to beginning work at this site or dis bing or altering wetlands,waterways,or adjacent lands in any way,NRC strongly recommends that the o ner obtain the necessary permits or other agency regulatory review and concurrence with regard to the proposed work in order to comply with applicable regulations.
