This proposed trucking business site Is in an <br /> agricultural preservation area of the Town of Oregon along CTH D. <br /> The site has a barn and the foundation of a former house , and has not <br /> been used for field crops. <br /> The relevant policy Is: "Only commercial uses clearly related to or <br /> compatible with agricultural production should be permitted In the <br /> Agricultural District . " The key question Is whether this proposed <br /> trucking business has any relation to agricultural production. The <br /> application gives no indication of the type of trucking. It is <br /> approximately half way between the Villages of Oregon and Belleville. <br /> If it Is a general trucking business , there Is no rationale for a rural <br /> location. <br /> In addition, the C-2 district allows many heavy retail and manufacturing <br /> uses which would be Incompatible at this location. <br /> E.H.D. - <br /> Co. Hwy. - petition 5141 . Not a controlled access highway in this area. <br /> However, our area supervisor must approve any driveway <br /> modifications or requests for access .
