Beyer ttJte (f n <br /> 1 <br /> SUBJECT: Rezoning request <br /> q <br /> The City of Verona purchased 16 . 72 acres in the Town of Verona for <br /> development of an industrial park. The land was annexed to the <br /> city except for a 10 foot strip along the West boundary line. The <br /> 10 foot strip was left in the township so as not to create a town <br /> island of 3 properties that are across the street. <br /> Norb Scribner has requested that the property be rezoned as it is <br /> under 35 acres . The Register of Deeds will not record our certified <br /> survey map of the city property until the 10 foot strip is zoned. <br /> The zoning requested is M-1 industrial so as to be compatible with <br /> the industrial zoning on the rest of the property in the City of <br /> Verona. <br /> The property will be sold for industrial development. Construction <br /> of the improvements to the property could occur this fall and will <br /> be completed no later than the spring of 1992 . <br /> Thank you for your consideration of this zoning request. <br />
