D.E.D. Yes. <br /> ANALYSIS: <br /> STAFF COMMENTS: <br /> R.P.C. - Petition 5149. This proposed residential division Is In a farmland <br /> preservation area of the Town of Dane. The relevant policy Is: <br /> "Restrict new non—farm development to areas with soils not classified as <br /> prime farmland. . . " Within this 40 acres there Is room for several <br /> homesltes which avoid prime farmland soils. There are significant areas <br /> (northeast and southwest) on the 40 acre proposal which have prime <br /> soils. <br /> To be consistent with policy, the applicant should be asked to define a <br /> smaller area which avoids the prime soils. <br /> E.H.D. - <br /> Co.
