This proposed division of farm buildings and land is <br /> primarily In the Town of Rutland, with the northwest corner in the Town <br /> of Dunn. The town/county plan for Rutland provides for such separations <br /> with this policy: "The other agricultural policies will be applied to <br /> such separations insofar as possible." This allows some flexibility. <br /> The only conflict with the agricultural policies Is that the soils <br /> involved should not be classified as prime farmland or those of <br /> statewide importance. The soils of the northern two-thirds of this site <br /> are prime farmland, while the southern one-third Is farmland of <br /> statewide significance according to USDA definitions. <br /> The buildings are In the northeast corner of the site and usually some <br /> lands are sold with the buildings to allow keeping of animals.
