As an established airport for over thirty (30) years registered with <br /> Wisconsin Bureau of Aeronautics since 1960. <br /> 4 b. 1984 David Gehl, a tenant, built hanger, with permit - grandfathered. <br /> 1985 Rod Slotten, airport owner, built hanger - with permit - Contested. <br /> 4 c. Separate. <br /> 5 a. Official Bureau of Aeronautics aerial scaled 1-400° provides detail. <br /> Hanger A built in the 50's. <br /> Hanger B built in 1984. David Gehl - grandfathered, <br /> Hanger C built in 1985. Rod Slotten, airport owner and Slotten farm <br /> owner - contested. <br /> Mr. Slotten has been a taxpayer; occupant of this land; since 1926 - 65 <br /> years. Graduated Class of 1936 - Andrew-Henry School - 1 room, 8 <br /> grades. Graduated Class of 1940 Verona High School. Served 1943-1946 - <br /> U. S. Marine Corps. Discharged Honorably 1946 after service in South <br /> Pacific, World War II, 4th Marine Air Wing, VMSB #231. Duster-Spray <br /> Pilot - 25 years, coast to coast, border to border and beyond. No <br /> violations. Engineer, Inventor, Patent holder, Commercial Pilot, Flight <br /> Instructor (CFI 571093) since 1946. <br /> CONDITIONAL USE PERMIT ADDENDUM <br /> There was, in 1950-1960, another hanger that collapsed due to snow load. It <br /> was abandoned, dismantled and the Gehl hanger was built thirty years later on <br /> the approximate former location. <br />
