No. <br /> ANALYSIS: The rezone is not in the Exclusive Ag District. It is located just <br /> outside of the Village of Mt Horeb and adjacent to existing <br /> commercial areas including a golf course and bowling alley. <br /> STAFF COMMENTS: <br /> R.P.C. — Petition 5192. This proposed golf driving range and associated golf equipment <br /> shop are In. the Mt. Horeb Urban Service Area. The planned land use for this <br /> area is low-density residential , compatible with the golf course to the west. <br /> A commercial area is planned along CTH ID. The existing B-1 parcel to the <br /> north Is vacant. <br /> Urban services have not reached this portion of the urban service area; <br /> therefore, intensive development should be limited. <br /> The driving range may be rationalized as a temporary or low-intensity use In <br /> this proposed residential area. However, establishing a commercial site at <br /> this location Is questioned when the long-range use planned for this area is <br /> residential . <br /> E.H.D. — <br /> Co. Hwy. — <br />
