One of the main reasons for these objectives and policies Is to direct major <br /> commercial and industrial development to urban areas where communities have <br /> planned and constructed the public infrastructure to handle such urban <br /> development. <br /> This proposal would double the size of a manufacturing facility. <br /> The proposal Is along a narrow town road with houses on the RH-1 parcels, a <br /> corn-drying operation on the A-B parcel and a landscape contractor on the LC-1 <br /> parcel . The balance of the area is productive farmland. <br /> The question Is, should an industrial use be allowed to expand in <br /> contradiction to adopted policies. There is no planning rationale to support . <br /> such a decision. <br /> (E) <br />
